a friend of mine suffered second degree burns because the jumper cables he was using to start his car burst into flame while he was using them. i suggested bitching at the manufacturer considering jumper cables are designed to do two things: 1) transfer electricity from one battery to another 2) NOT burst into flames.

but really, who keeps the box on their jumps? and if you, as we were discussing this morning, took the only tag off the cables because it was getting in the way of pulling them completely apart, do you have any recourse at all?

i for one am definitely writing down the glassware company from now on before mouth pipetting my chemicals.
